  • Salary Details: The app displays the salary for the chosen role at the chosen company, along with industry average salary for the role and the average salary at the chosen company across all roles.

  • Industry-Wide Insight: Users can also view the industry average salary across all roles and all companies, providing a comprehensive overview of the tech industry.

Usage

  1. Open the WorkAround Explorer web app in your favorite web browser.

  2. Select a specific role and company by clicking on the radio buttons provided under the respective sections.

  3. The app will automatically update the displayed information to show the selected role's salary at the chosen company, the industry average salary for the role, the average salary at the chosen company, and the industry average salary across all roles and companies.

  4. Gain valuable insights into salary trends in the tech industry and make informed decisions.

Installation

To run the WorkAround Explorer app locally on your machine, follow these steps:

  1. Clone or download this repository to your local machine.

  2. Open the terminal and navigate to the project directory.

  3. Install any required dependencies by running the following command:

    npm install
  4. Open the main.js file and update the import statements for the necessary modules.

  5. Open the index.html file in a web browser to launch the app.
