I had the issue described in popcorn-time/popcorn-app#330 but in my case I has just accepted Windows' default settings in the firewall dialog (nw.exe allowed in private networks only). After seeing the discussion on that issue, and realizing the firewall settings I had picked could be the culprit, I went back to the Control Panel, found the firewall settings and edited them to allow nw.exe in public networks, and that made it work. It could be useful to have this info in the FAQ for others who may have just clicked OK in the firewall dialog, accepting the default firewall rules.

What is the current status of this project? Is this discontinued?

The word 'seedea' doesn't exist in spanish. And the people I think this app targets will not know what it means.

A literal translation would be 'siembra' from the verb 'sembrar'/'to seed'. But then again, most people won't know what is it to 'seed movies'/'sembrar películas'.

Therefore, I propose to change 'seedea' into 'comparte'.

I think that way people will get what it does and, at the same time, we support the idea that (file) sharing is not piracy.

The top link for downloading the app on linux system is linking to the windows executable.

and find out that used font "BrandonText" do not support some czech characters like: č, ů and so on.

Would you consider using different font with brother language support?
Or do you have this font in another version supporting more language characters?

When viewing in full screen there is a white edge around the player. The cursor will not fade away after being stagnant for a few moments either. I did not have these issues with other versions of PopCorn Time.
