What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Play "Secret State - Episode 1"
What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
It should play fine - it's on the YouTube 4od channel and it works when
selecting it in the YouTube plugin directly. The 4od plugin correctly invokes
the YouTube plugin, so the YouTube pop-up window shows up, but it stays stuck
at 50% "Opening stream" indefinitely.
What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
raspbmc RC5 on raspberry pi
4od plugin v1.8.1
YouTube plugin 3.2.1
Please provide any additional information below.

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Navigate addon to RTE > Most Popular
2. Plugin loads "http://www.rte.ie/player/ie/most-popular/"
3. Tries to parse links to shows listed but fails if a show is no longer
available.
What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
The plugin would preferably list the "Most Popular" shows omitting the page
that failed to load, either by ignoring the faulty link (and displaying an info
message).
What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Plugin Version 2.0.10, XBMC 12.2 on OpenELEC 3.06
Plugin Version 2.0.10, XBMC 13.0 Alpha 6 on Linux Mint 15

appears more how the plugin handles being served a HTTP ERROR 404 message.

2. Message displays "Working" as it normally does
3. Than information box appears stating "cannot show categories"
I have tried this on my Raspberry Pi and laptop both running Gotham and the
same 4od plugin install and the same error appears.
What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Expect - Display list of categories of 4od.
Actually happens - Information box appears stating "cannot show categories".
What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Raspberry Pi Gotham (4od 4.0.5)
Win 7 running XBMC Gotham (4od 4.0.5)

I have checked the XBMC log file and when the 4od plugin is run it requests the
URL "http://m.channel4.com/4od/tags". The response is a web page stating the
mobile site is no longer available.

What steps will reproduce the problem?
-Attempting to play most recent 4oD video content
What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
- When a recent programme is selected to play, an error appears:
Error parsing stream info
Unable to find MP4 video file to play
See log for details
Please note, this only appears when new programmes (ie recent additions to 4oD)
are played.
What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
1.0.5 / XBMC 11.0 / Apple TV 2
Please provide any additional information below.
Hi Mossy, great work with this Addon - thanks. I'm aware that some 4oD
programmes will result in the error described above (as you mentioned here:
http://forum.xbmc.org/showthread.php?tid=134118&highlight=4od+addOn ) but over
the past couple of weeks I'm seeing this error more and more. Has 4oD changed
the way they encode their content, perhaps no longer using MP4, or is there a
problem with my setup?
Try testing with "Jimmy's Forest". The episode dated 6 Aug plays fine, but the
more recent episode dated 13 Aug results in the error described above. My log
is attached.
Thanks,
Peter.
