polyrhythm-website's Issues
Slur Positioning
In Ex. T433, by Berg, the slurs on the first beat of the 1st and 2nd measures in the Bass clef are colliding with the beams.
Polyrhythm website does not work on safari
Polyrhythm website does not allow you to click on composers/individual examples in safari. Works fine on google chrome - not sure if this is something that you would consider fixing to make the site more accessible?
T130 should be R130
There seems to be a number of R examples that are showing as T on the website, but not on the Google spreadsheet master. The correct label is given on the work page but not the home page.
https://polyrhythm.humdrum.org/example/?id=130
Here is a partial list of other mislabeled examples on the home page:
161
180
183
187
299
308B
310
324
350
Implicit transposition problems
ex. T322B, Bartok, bars 9-11, contrabass pitches are notated an octave lower on VHV
Arrow key on work page
Could you make the arrow keys on the work page follow the order of the search on the home page?
VHV button on Polyrhythm Website sends to wrong example when scrolling from example to example
For example, when clocking VHV button for R130, VHV opens with R129. This doesn't happen if the example isn access thought the Home page.
Extraneous Clef
rit./accel. dashed line missing
ex. T329, Bartok, bar 7, rit. dashed line is missing from VHV.
Hidden transpositions
ex. 325, Bartok, clarinet, all courtesy accidentals are missing from VHV
Missing Composer Name on VHV all files (Rendering Error)
ex. T323, Bartok, VHV does not show composer name from SIB .pdf
Hanging Slur/Tie
ex. T323, Bartok, 1st violin, bar 2, SIB . pdf has a slur and it is missing from VHV
Instruments notated at sounding pitch and not written pitch
Artificial harmonics
Dynamics missing
In Ex. T434, by Berg, ALL dynamics in ALL parts are missing.
Tuplet number problem
Example 744 has tuplet problems on the first tuplet group of a measure:
https://polyrhythm.humdrum.org/example/?id=744
probably related to previous tuplet problems.
Brackets issue (various files)
Rendering Tuplets
R129, first measure, sextuplet with initial sixteenth rest shows "126" instead of "6"
Batch processing of tempo markings for RDS only
Two types of entries: VHV score and interpretation
VHV score: "Example Start Measure", "Example Start Notated Beat", "Example Start Notated Beat Rate", and "Example Start Tempo Expression"
Interpretations: columns "Example Start Tsig Beat" and "Example Start Mean Beat Rate"
Voices mixed up on staff
ex. T323, Bartok, bar 1, bassoons, 2 voice writing is switched on VHV
Slur and beam of appoggiaturas missing
ex. T 329, Bartok, on VHV slurs and appoggiaturas beams are missing throughout the treble clef.
Missing courtesy accidentals
alt-p is not working in VHV
I also tried by clicking on the View menu "Show Source Scan" and that also doesn't work. We will need this to do the proofreading for rendering errors.
Triplets not beamed
Expression markings appear under different staffs
ex. T332B, Bartok, 1st measure, 1st violin, Sibelius PDF has sf marking in violin staff and it is in contrabass staff in VHV
Display starting bar number
When the musical excerpt does not start at measure 1 of the music, then a bar number should be displayed on the first measure, which current is not happening.
Example:
https://polyrhythm.humdrum.org/example/?id=789
This example starts in measure 18, but number not displayed:
Add staff placement for expressive text
Tremolos
In Ex. T434, by Berg, the final measure of the 2nd Violin part should have tremolo markings on the first and second eighth notes.
trill wavy line extender
Natural harmonics
Missing Crescendos
Extension Lines after tempo alterations not appearing
Hanging slurs
Ex. T322B, Bartok, first measure, Violin 1, Sibelius PDF has a slur ending on the first note and it is missing from VHV.
Polyrhythm website scores vs. VHV scores
The score on polyrhythm website doesn't match the VHV score. For example, R129, first measure has a floating slur and the cello sextuplet with rest and notes in reverse order.
Hairpins missing/altered
In Ex. T433, by Berg, several of the hairpins in the treble clef have had their symbols (<,>) replaced by words (cresc., decresc.); in addition, the treble clef is missing several hairpins. The bass clef should have hairpins on each bar but has none showing on VHV.
Slur is prolongated into next tone
ex. T328, Bartok, bar 4, on VHV the slur should end on 1st beat and it is prolongated to next tone.
TDS with conversion problems
The following TDS examples have conversion problems or warnings when trying to produce music notation. These will have to be checked to examine to see if and why there is a problem.

Arpeggio lines
ex. T329, Bartok, bar 11, broken chord symbol is missing from VHV.
Test issue (e.g., hanging slur)
Example #, 3rd system, horns, there is an extra slur extending longer than it should
Example #, etc.
Layer swapping
ex. T328, Bartok, bar 5, 2nd beat, stems are fine on SIB .pdf but are reversed on VHV.
Copy button copies KERN data from previous example
Affecting examples 730, 731, 732
Staff vertical spacing
ex. T327, Bartok, on VHV staffs have different spacing for the strings from that of SIB .pdf.
Phrase Lines
8va/8vb not working- ledger lines galore
Example no. 744, both upper and lower ledger lines are way too much - score has 8va/8vb but this is not translating to KERN
Time Signature Rendering Error
ex. T322B, Bartok, time signature (3/4) is missing from Sibelius PDF and VHV shows time signature 4/4, besides whole bar rests are blank on Sibelius PDF and appear as dotted half note (3/4) on VHV under time signature 4/4
crescendo hairpin is prolongated into next tone
ex. 329, Bartok, bar 7-8, SIB .pdf has a crescendo hairpin that ends on bar 8 and it is prolongated into bar 9 on VHV.
Example 820 Time signature
Ex. 820 has two groups in different time signatures, with bar lines in different places, and one group has a tempo half of the other, which Sibelius is not capable of handling.

Premiere soloists: | Dorse, Jimmy; Goodman, Benny; Howard, Willie; Kearns, Allen; Krupa, Gene; Merman, Ethel; Miller, Glen; Rodgers, Ginger
(Premiere soloists entry).
Batch processing of metadata for full dataset (RDS)
Adding metadata to Humdrum/digital file: "Work Title", "Genre", "Sub-Genre", and "Source Work Full Unit" NOTE: When it says single movement, there is no movement title.
Adding score information to VHV score: "Example Start Measure"
Duplets become Quadruplets
ex. 325, Bartok, all duplets for all instruments are transformed into a whole bar quadruplet
