sorry, i can not understand that u make it "inital_len * 8" when appending the inital length, I think it should be "inital_len"

I don't understand why the follow code is written like this.
According to the MD5 algorithm, it is filled with first 1 and 0 at last. Why do we need this step?

// initial_len>>29 == initial_len*8>>32, but avoids overflow.

u use "uint32_t" val to represent the length of msg, but in md5 the length should be 64 bits?
