This is a simulation of a modern digital library implementation for a school project

This app uses the following dependencies:

• React
• Flask
• Axios
• Vite
• Python
• MySQL ODBC Connector

For the time being, this app runs locally.

1. Clone this repository.
2. Navigate to the client directory and install the libraries required by React with npm install
3. Launch the page with npm run dev

1. Navigate to the server directory.
2. Navigate to the server directory and install the libraries required by Python with pip install -r requirements
3. Launch the page with flask run

1. Run db_with_data.sql file to create the schema and fill with some data.
2. Edit the following .env lines to match with your database: DB_HOST= 127.0.0.1 DB_USER= (fill with your db username) DB_PASSWORD= (fill with your local db password)
