@claywilkinson I think only you can answer this well.

Earlier we used to use a default save slot (created from code) so that we don't need to disturb the user with an additional UI.

But from the checklist mentioned here its showing it as required property. I don't see a reason to make it mandatory as its still allowed through library methods to avoid showing UI.

Can you @claywilkinson please confirm if it's really a requirement forced or optional one?
