Unable to access public assets when productionized with Docker

I have a Play framework project (2.6.19). I have integrated Angular7, in the way shown in this repo. It runs fine locally. I have Dockerized the application for production deployment, as suggested in #5.

But when I deploy the Dockerized app and go to the ${site_name}/ url, no content is loaded on the page and I see the following errors in the browser console.

Loading failed for the <script> with source “${site_name}/polyfills.f5ce8ecea387adbb1689.js”.
Loading failed for the <script> with source “${site_name}/main.7b584dffbb7d3f5a51bd.js”.

My directory structure looks just like this seed. I don't pull in these files explicitly myself in my index.html. However, after the Angular build, the index.html file in the public directory includes the following lines:

<script type="text/javascript" src="main.7b584dffbb7d3f5a51bd.js"></script>

This seems to be the the expected behavior and should not be a problem as far as I can see, since the public directory also contains these files: runtime.b57bf819d5bdce77f1c7.js, polyfills.f5ce8ecea387adbb1689.js, main.7b584dffbb7d3f5a51bd.js.

But then why is the app not able to find these scripts, if they're located in the public directory, at the same level as the index.html file?

How to work with Docker?

I have a Play framework project (2.6.19). I have integrated Angular7, in the way shown in this repo. So if I run sbt "project frontend" run or sbt "project frontend" dist, then the corresponding hooks for setting up Angular are invoked, and the app is able to run correctly.

But my Play project is Dockerized (via https://www.scala-sbt.org/sbt-native-packager/formats/docker.html). When I run sbt "project frontend" docker:publish, the usual binary for the Play app is created and Docker uses that for the entrypoint. However, none of the hooks for building the Angular project are invoked. When I access the app after pushing the Docker image, it runs as before (Angular is not running).

Is there a way I can insert a hook so that the Angular code is built, upon sbt "project frontend" docker:publish or sbt "project frontend" docker:publishLocal? I was thinking perhaps sbt "project frontend" docker:publish would be calling sbt "project frontend" dist under the hood, but apparently it is not.

Action required: Greenkeeper could not be activated 🚨

To enable Greenkeeper, you need to make sure that a commit status is reported on all branches. This is required by Greenkeeper because it uses your CI build statuses to figure out when to notify you about breaking changes.

Since we didn’t receive a CI status on the greenkeeper/initial branch, it’s possible that you don’t have CI set up yet. We recommend using Travis CI, but Greenkeeper will work with every other CI service as well.

If you have already set up a CI for this repository, you might need to check how it’s configured. Make sure it is set to run on all new branches. If you don’t want it to run on absolutely every branch, you can whitelist branches starting with greenkeeper/.

Once you have installed and configured CI on this repository correctly, you’ll need to re-trigger Greenkeeper’s initial pull request. To do this, please delete the greenkeeper/initial branch in this repository, and then remove and re-add this repository to the Greenkeeper App’s white list on Github. You'll find this list on your repo or organization’s settings page, under Installed GitHub Apps.
