Currently no automatic mechanism for blob replication exists. Blobs are only replicated when requested explicitly by calling specific commands. Since this is a pub we need to automatically replicate blobs for everyone that we follow or up to n hops.

What is the best way to control the pub? What tasks do we need to achieve?

Tasks that can be useful:

• change about message (name, description, picture)
• control the contact graph (follow, unfollow, block, unblock)

What is the best interface? CLI comes to mind but also a REST API maybe? Then CLI could just be a client for that. What kind of authentication should we use for REST though?

Invites can have:

• an expiration date or no expiration date
• a limited number of uses or unlimited uses

We basically need to somehow allow people to define their own contact/pub message types, we probably need an interface of sorts.
