Enabling this plug in has given all of my users access to the entries list regardless of their permissions to access it... is there a way to fix this? Love the function of this but it inhibits a clean paired down CP for restricted users. Thoughts?

It would be nice to see a column added that displayed the original section the entry comes from.

Just a heads up for people who want this functionality for products in Craft Commerce. Change the following line in CategorySourcesPlugin.php:

public function modifyEntrySources(&$sources, $context)

to:

public function commerce_modifyProductSources(&$sources, $context)

That's the only change you need to make. Maybe this helps someone =)

Hi pixelandtonic, entries only seem show up in Parent categories and not child categories. Taking your screenshot as an example, an entry in Beer will not show in Beer, it only shows in Alcoholic.

Scrub that! I hadn't got categories set up correctly.

Could you use the same technique here to display the actual Categories data like the Structures are in the Entries Section?

And then also hide the whole Categories section from the top menu.

I have a client who is confused by the term 'categories' but wants their functionality ie. the parent level structure entries being selected automatically.

I have a bunch of Stucture entries using category fields. Is there any way to add the Structure reordering function to this plugin? It shows me the categories and listing perfectly, but just does not let me order them.

I see some commits on the craft 3 version, any idea of this is safe to install?

I have a lot of taxonomy items and only half of them show up. Is there a reason why that would happen?
