nc doesn't recognize -1 option but works good without "-q 1".

Env: arch linux, netcat 0.7.1

stop.sh doesn't work because fuser on macosx doesn't have the -k option. I can't seem to get the version of fuser on my machine :(

status.sh outputs the "-n" from the "echo -n" call for some reason on my box. I think that it's using the shell's echo command, which says it supports the -n flag but doesn't seem to. I'm running bash 3.2.48(1)-relase (x86_64-apple-darwin10.0).

./zkconf.py --count=1 ~/zookeeper-3.2.1 ~/zk2

generates the directory correctly, but running start.sh gives this error:
