Is there any known problem that caused you to enforce a serial build by setting PARALLEL_MAKE empty?

I typically have no trouble doing parallel builds ("make -j8" or similar) when working directly with upstream, and I don't find any issues when I allow the Bitbake builds of sdl-core to run in parallel.

Look like all we need is to bring back the master branch and that will go away. :-)

Will https://github.com/phongt/meta-sdl/tree/release/4.5.x support thud, or is there a plan to create a 5.0.x release that will target thud?

Currently you can not build 4.5.x with thud, because this is needed.

I assume this recipe would start smartdevicelink.service automatically by SYSTEMD_AUTO_ENABLE = "1".
But for some reason, it didn't start when I include it AGL, so I needed to make a symlink manually in do_install_append.

install -d ${D}/${systemd_unitdir}/system/multi-user.target.wants
ln -fs ../smartdevicelink.service ${D}${systemd_unitdir}/system/multi-user.target.wants/smartdevicelink.service

I don't know how SYSTEMD_AUTO_ENABLE suppose to work, but is making symlink necessary? If so, I'd like to send the PR.

Hi; I was just wondering whether you have any plans to publish a branch that builds upstream version 4.5.x.

If not, I could contribute something.
