Screenshare not working (infinite screenshare loading screen).
Sharing is working again when BetterScreenshare plugin is disabled.

For some reason video codec list is empty.

1. Install philhk Vencord fork on WebCord 4.2.0.
2. Enable BetterScreenshare
3. Try to share something

Not sure how possible this would be, but some kind of stream brightness control would be really cool. I stream with a HDR monitor and while the HDR toggle improves things, the final image is still very bright on stream vs what I see on the monitor. I noticed that I could take a screenshot of the stream and just reduce the exposure in photoshop or something to make it almost look 1:1 with SDR. So if a generic exposure filter or something could be implemented into the streaming pipeline it could be a great solution to the issue. Thank you for all of your work with this.

can you add Opus music codec support to Bettermic plugin because you said its possible to do and if you made a stereo and screenshare plugin for vencord why not go full out quality and fix the main audio problem with discord which is it not using opus music codec

Philhk BetterMicrophone makes my discord output mono and tested after clearing all discord client stuff and registry stuff and using abaddon as stereo source and also all other stereo on pc is fine even discord if not using philhk stereo

No audio sources at screen share

What is the expected behaviour?

I was expecting that the option would allow me to select any of my pipewire sources, like https://github.com/maltejur/discord-screenaudio does, it would be amazing, not to switch discord client every time i want to share my screen.

How do you recreate this bug or crash?

Using: Discord via Flatpak
1.- Joined a VC
2.- Clicked the ScreenShare button, selecting the whole screen 1
3.- I clicked on the source list, a sort of "white space" popped up but none of my audio sources.

What happens when the bug or crash occurs?

Suddenly, BetterScreenshare stopped working suddenly. After no restart, and no vencord update, it broke. It was working fine, but sometime this night it suddenly broke, which leads me to believe it is a serverside issue.

The error doesn't make a lot of sense, because when I looked into the code, the type ("screen" or "window") sourceId (handle id or monitor #) are provided.

What is the expected behaviour?

I expect the screenshare to function as usual, however it errors with a "Framerate Encode" error.

Screenshare with the BetterScreenshare Vencord plugin enabled.

Hi, I found an error with the betterMicrophone or betterScreenshare plugin
The settings of all plugins (as well as betterMicrophone and betterScreenshare itself) are not saved in the settings.json file after adding and enabling the plugin

What is the expected behaviour?

plugin settings will be saved

add plugins to the userplugins folder
pnpm build
enable the bettermicrophone or bettersreenshare plugin
restart Discord
try enabling some other plugin or setting
restart Discord
settings will not be saved to settings.json

What happens when the bug or crash occurs?

Broadcasts cannot be watched by anyone other than the broadcaster.

I'm not sure if this is a server-side limitation of Discord or a bug in the Discord client.

What is the expected behavior?

Must be able to broadcast using the H265 codec.

How do you recreate this bug or crash?

1. Select the H265 codec and start broadcasting.
2. Watch the broadcast. (Anyone other than the broadcaster)
3. The video stream is stuck in an infinite load.

Latest version of your fork and latest version of Discord.
Was working fine for me but bugged for my friends. As soon as I restarted my discord I got the bug as well so this seems to be some changes made by Discord.

custom FPS does not work on servers without Server Boost or in DM without Nitro

What is the expected behaviour?

custom FPS will work again
for example, the CustomScreenShare plugin allows you to do this without any problems

add opus music codec that abandon client uses to this because opus music codec bypasses all of discords audio bs and outputs a lossless signal without any irs needed

There seem to be a desync problem with the audio being ahead of the stream. I've tried it with different encoders, HW acceleration on/off and other discord settings but it's always there. Disabling the plugin fixes the issue.

What is the expected behaviour?

Video and audio in sync.

Better Screenshare just gets stuck in loading for me and on my friend's pc. Fake Nitro no longer allows me to change the discord appearance it auto-switches back. Both problems I noticed started today probably with the Halloween updates. I hope you can fix the better screen share as its been an essential tool for being able to collaborate on music remotely.
