@jonathanolson I think the "buggy" state is reached completely based on the type of preceding challenge. I collected some "data" over multiple level runs and it looks like if these "Find the total area" challenges are preceded by a challenge involving a quadratic equation, we get the bug. I can give more detail if that's not enough information, it's just hard to articulate my hunch.

definitely a bug. I think the button is supposed to be gray until you adjust at least one number picker.

FYI @samreid I'm working on cleaning up a lot of the code related to this, as it was particularly messy with bad logic.

That seems consistent with the flow before submitting an incorrect answer, but I'm fine leaving this as it is.
