I would expect the Home and End keys to jump to the top and bottom of the list, respectively. But they don't do anything.
Page up and page down work as expected.
Hi, I cant open this mapping in the new release, I've tried exporting per deck, but still getting the same issue.
I've uploaded the mapping.
Thank you so much for your efforts, if I ever make any money from my mappings or when I am more financially stable, I will donate as much as possible. This project has saved me hundreds of hours in time and I appreciate the amount of work that must of gone into making this for free. Thanks again!
the link for the mapping is here
First of all. HUGE compliment, i just got the link to your project .. and already love it :) .. the NI editor i so terrible, no copy&paste .. cmdr offers this, so amazing THANK YOU ! .. btw: the filtering row on top of columns are best :)
just an enhancement idea .. any kind of INC Command would be nice, see this example: i mapped a lot OUT (LED) actions to e.g. 'Hotcue 1 type' (for each cue type -1 to 5 etc.. for triggering different colors, delete etc), now wanted to copy this dozen of mappings 8x for HC2-8, so i would need a way to update command itself (from 'Hotcue 1 type' to 2, to 3 etc) .. just as an idea ;)
Anyhow .. GREAT WORK :) !
(Just wanted to send a screenshot from example above, but seems not possible in github)
Is there any windows build I can use out of the box? If not, could you provide a building manual? Would appreciate it!
Sorting by "mapped to" sorts in alphabetical order.
It would be better if it sorted in message order.
e.g. instead of:
D#0
D#1
D#2
...
D0
D1
D-1
D2
it should/could be:
D-1
D0
D#0
D1
D2
D#2
The ideal would be to have an option in the settings to enable or disable this behaviour.
If you enter any filter criteria for the list (e.g. command, mapped to), the text you enter is displayed with a yellow background.
If you switch to a different file and then switch back again, the filter remains in place but the entered filter criteria is no longer displayed.
The most obvious use case is if you accidentally delete a mapping (see another issue I've raised for this), so that you can undo and restore it.
Other times, you may not have realised you've been editing the wrong mapping, so it would be good to undo step-by-step to restore a previously working mapping.
As per standard UI, Undo would go in the Edit menu. The text in the Undo entry should contain what the last performed command was, so it would say something like "Undo delete of [...]", "Undo set channel to 05", "Undo enable soft takeover", etc.
It's too easy to accidentally hit the Delete button and delete a mapping without even knowing you've done it - or even if you do realise, it may not be obvious which entry you've deleted (I'm thinking of situations where you're working with a list of duplicated/similar maps based on slightly different modifier values). Trying to figure out which one you have deleted can be stressful! Especially as there's no undo.
Hi Pedro,
first of all, thanks for keeping the cmdr up and running. this is a minor issue.
was just playing around with the INC/DEC Command and Value actions and i love that stuff already. felt this was missing since the days around 0.5b ;) the INC/DEC do not seem not to work on all occasions.
expected behaviour was that the INC Value action would increase the command´s value to Hotcue2, but it just does nothing. am i misunderstanding the purpose of that action?
