• Currently, completion only works for the first tag (whitespace-delimited)
• E.g., for the search string "alice bob charlie", only "alice" can be completed - we also want completions to appear after typing "alice b" for "bob", "banana", etc.
• This probably requires extending QCompleter and/or QLineEdit, or maybe using a QStringListModel

Cache the results of data.get_file_metadata(), which should be invalidated when a tag on the file is added or removed.

• Prefixing a tag with - will exclude files containing that tag from query results

• When the completion popup is active, the tab button should cycle through the results

Add a checkbox (or some sort of toggle) for listing list gallery search results in a randomized order, instead of the default alphabetical order.

Reserving keywords for "meta" queries, i.e. not searching by the tags themselves, may be useful.

To start with, we could specify a maximum number of tags using maxtags:3. Another example would be searching for images added after a given date, e.g. from_dt:2019-01-01.

Currently, the only way for images to actually get into the database (within the application) is to view them at least once in the "filesystem" tab.

(Alternatively, we could talk to the database directly outside of the application by manually running some sort of update script, which is what I currently do for my personal use.)

To start with, we can automatically add all new images, under the configured root directory, on startup. But it would be better to be able to configure the directories from which images should be automatically added.

• Currently, we have to switch to another file, then back, for the tag count to be refreshed
• It would be better to somehow notify the file tree view/model of the change immediately after a tag is added or removed... not sure how yet

Display some useful metadata within icon labels, such as tag count or rating.
