Automation of a robotic vehicle: Build a robotic vehicle using an available chassis. The vehicle should be able to i. Move forward and reverse [2] ii. Make a turn left or right [2] iii. Have the ability to either choose to drive at one of two speeds, (slow/fast) [2] iv. Either: Have the ability to progressively increase speed from Speed 1 to Speed 2 OR: progressively increase the brightness of a lamp from level 1 to level 2. [2] v. Must flash LEDs in a pattern (think of an emergency services vehicle) RBBBR. Each lamp lights for 200ms and the whole cycle repeats. [2] vi. When going forwards it lights a RED LED on the tail end, but lights a white one(on the tail end) if reversing. (use the colours you have) [2] vii. When going reverse, it beeps at 500ms intervals [2] viii. The car must be controllable (eg over cables/buttons, or wireless) [2] ix. The car can do a fixed, preset routine /sequence of movements by itself when that mode is activated. [2] x. Your code must have at least one function written in assembly language(eg count no. of times you went reverse) [2] xi. Display feedback & status for humans (eg using LCD/7-seg display) [2] xii. Turn on a set of lights automatically when it is dark [2] xiii. Sense when the car is too close to an obstacle, beep 2 times and stop [2] xiv. Have a lamp/LED whose blink rate can be varied using a potentiometer [2]
