Multiprotocol TX Module Arduino IDE Boards

Build Status

This repository contains the source for the Arduino IDE board definitions for the Multiprotocol TX Module.

The main repository for the Multiprotocol TX Module firmware, including all documentation, is here.

Installing the Multi 4-in-1 boards

The board definitions are installed using the Arduino IDE Boards Manager.

  1. Open the Arduino IDE

  2. Go to File -> Preferences, or press Ctrl+Comma

  3. Locate the Aditional Boards Manager URLs field and paste in this URL:

diy-multiprotocol-tx-module-boards's Issues

IRX4 module is stuck in serial mode after firmware update

I have upgraded my IRX4 4 in 1 module to a version 1.3.xxx level firmware from the multimodule site. The module works fine in all radios such as the Frsky Taranis etc., but will not go into PPM mode (Green light off) when I want to use it for older radios with PPM mode such as the JR PCM 10X. It appears to be stuck in serial mode. I have also tried upgrading with a ppm -based firmware from the site but the behaviour is the same.

Arduino IDE Linking error when Win Username has a space

I am experiencing an issue when the Arduino IDE is compiling for a Multi-4-in-1 board, and I am logged in with a windows username that contains a space.

During the linking stage an error is thrown right after successful execution of: do_version.bat

The error is thrown in the middle of my windows user name, (again, contains a space).

i.e User is 'My Name',
The error thrown is: 'C:\Users\My' is not recognized as an internal or external command

When I run under a Windows user that doesn't contain a space, the compile completes successfully. I believe this is related to something in the linking process.

Note: I can compile code when other than a 'Multi-4-in-1 ' AVR board is selected (i.e compile for Arduino Mini works fine with username containing a space.)
