wrapper of tawk

This Vue plugin injects a tawk.io instance into all of your vue instances

Install

npm install vue-tawk --save
or
yarn add vue-tawk -D

Usage

Initialize

First you'll need to register the plugin
Second you should had a account of https://www.tawk.to/

import Tawk from 'vue-echo'
  
Vue.use(Tawk, {
    tawkSrc: 'YOU_TAWK_SRC'
})

Set the visitor name and email

this.$Tawk.$updateChatUser(user)
the object of user should like that
{
    name: 'user name',
    email: 'user email',
    hash: '' // see more https://www.tawk.to/javascript-api/#securemode
}

Ends the current ongoing chat.

you should close the chat when user logout your website

this.$Tawk.$endChat()

How to change dynamically the tawk color button

I want to change dynamically via vue js the three primary colors of the tawk button

Trigger chat with a button

is there a way to trigger the chat with a button on nuxt?

Vue is set as a dependency and it should be a devDependency

As the title says, Vue is set as a dependency and it should be a devDependency. The problem with this is that we cannot change the Vue dependency, which is wrong. Update it as a dev dependency :-)

import Tawk from 'vue-echo' not working

import Tawk from 'vue-echo' not working. I have tried with import Tawk from 'vue-tawk' and this works.

Update chat user once user has signed up/ signed in doesn't seem to work.
No error logging, but no changes in the tawk app.
Tried with the secure hash and without but neither work. Even when using the secure API and no hash i don't get any error logging.

Use vue Reactivity to switch Tawk Widget

In a multilingual website (vue-i18n) I would like to switch the Tawk widget to load according to the language selected...

Given this is reactive and happens with no page refresh, I couldn't find a well documented way of doing that.

Any idea ?
