WarsawEconometricChallenge

Project Setup

  • Create a virtual environment using virtualenv venv
  • Activate the virtual environment by running venv/bin/activate
  • On Windows use venv\Scripts\activate.bat
  • Install the dependencies using pip3 install -r requirements.txt
  • Run application using python main.py
  • Run the test module using python3 -m unittest

    Use free IDE for development - PYCHARM IS NOT ALLOWED

    For developers

    • Clone repository git clone https://github.com/PanNorek/WarsawEconometricChallenge.git
    • Change directory to path
    • Use Install instructions
    • Add foldername folder to PYTHONPATH (https://bic-berkeley.github.io/psych-214-fall-2016/using_pythonpath.html)
    • Make your own branch and and choose the name associated with feature you implement git checkout -b branch_name
    • Make sure you are no proper branch by typing git branch
    • Start development
    • After your job is done (code is working, precisely documented and well tested) connect code to repository
    • Type git status for seeing change you have made
    • Type git add name_of_the_file to add one file, or use git add . to add all files
    • After adding changes commit them git commit -m "Commit message"
    • Push your changes to github version on yous branch git push origin branch_name
    • Go to https://github.com/PanNorek/WarsawEconometricChallenge and create pull request
    • Wait for me to accept pull request
