Error downloading "GeoLite2-Country". Invalid license key.

when I try generating a key it asks me:
ld versions of our GeoIP Update program use a different license key format. Will this key be used for GeoIP Update? Yes / No

I selected "Yes", than it asks me :
Generate a license key and config file for use with geoipupdate version 3.1.1 or newer.
or
Generate a license key and config file for use with geoipupdate versions older than 3.1.1.
This key will be stored in an unhashed format.

i tried all options and all give me error on your plugin that key is invalid.
which one should I use?

I'm getting currently:

Database not updated.

Error downloading "GeoLite2-Country". Invalid license key.

I've tried https://download.maxmind.com/app/geoip_download?edition_id=GeoLite2-Country&license_key=YOUR_LICENSE_KEY&suffix=tar.gz to be sure, that my key is working, and I could download with the same key (and validated it multiple times) without problems.

If it should work, how can I further debug this problem? Is it possible that the plugin is currently broken with the latest YOURLs 1.9.2?

What I've noticed is that my license key looks drastically longer (40 characters long) than the one on the screenshot in the README.md. Is it possible that something regarding the key format has changed?

thx a ton for the version 1.9.0 - upgrade worked out perfect for me, just one point open, I would like to useh the run.php for geopip updates.

Do I only need to insert the maxmind key and just use "/usr/bin/php run.php" in a cron script?

I am not sure how to handle the automatic update?
