Would you kindly attach a sample project file it fails to clean up?

I just do file new console app, then add nunit via package manager, I then download your script adding a path parameter and point the path to where the console application is and run the script, the line with $reallyBadStuff is removed, anything with \s still remains

Creating a new solution and and installing a package would not result in a condition that needs this script.
