Laravel API and AngularJS front-end - Boilerplate

Using Laravel as the RESTful API back-end and AngularJS as the front-end to create a very simple single page password application.

This boilerplate uses Laravel and AngularJS in combination with Grunt, Bower and Bootstrap.

###What's including

  • RESTful Laravel API to handle CRUD
  • Angular front-end
  • Angular directives for Bootstrap
  • Composer install with npm install, bower install and a grunt install task (mkdir, less, browserify, bower_concat and uglify)

Putting it all together is time consuming. Therefore this simple boilerplate can be reused easily.

###What are the requirements

###Installation

01 - Cloning repository
git clone [email protected]:ovdsteen/laravel-angularjs-boilerplate.git
02 - Composer install
composer install

automatically runs npm install, bower install and grunt install task

03 - Chmod
chmod -R 0777 app/storage
04 - Database

First create a database and adjust the file app/database.php. Then run migrate

php artisan migrate

Then seed the database

php artisan db:seed
05 - Run grunt (watch)

To watch your files, compile, concat and minify use grunt

grunt
