@PeterGyger, I am guessing you are using 64bit foobar? It seems this theme only support 32bit version, so I just uninstalled it , reinstalled using the 32bit installer and the theme can be installed without problem now.

It did mentioned in the doc tbf, I think we just take for granted it will support both platform. You won't lose anything by Installing 32bit version anyway, so I see no reason to insist using 64bit if you like this theme.

I use this theme for a long time and I just need to reinstall it after rebuilding my PC yesterday. I can tell you that this is one of the BEST, if not the best, foobar theme ever. So I would advise you to give it a go :)

PS: Sorry if this is something obvious to you, but just to be sure, you can install the 32bit version foobar on a 64bit window.

"This theme requires Foobar2000 32bit version 1.4 (or newer)"

Clear for me is:
"This theme requires Foobar2000 32bit. Version 1.4 or newer"

Yes, this theme is only compatible with the 32 bit version of Foobar2000. A 64 bit version was released with the new v2.0 update that came out only 4 months ago (this year!). Therefore, a lot of components (and themes) have not been updated to support the new 64 bit version and are only compatible with the 32 bit version.

Making a theme compatible with the 64 bit version of Foobar2000 can take a lot of work, depending on how complex it is. Sometimes you have to remake a lot of it from scratch.

Note that 64 bit Windows is fully compatible with 32 bit programs, meaning that you can freely use 32 bit version of Foobar2000 even on a 64 bit version of Windows until more components have been updated to support the 64 bit version.
