API is missing

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

1. clone
2. npm install && npm run dev
3. go to browser
4. login does not work

Expected behavior
Login should work

Additional context
If I inspect the web, I see an attempt to connect with: *http://localhost:8080/api/

Question
So my question is: Where is the api or how can I deploy it?

Implement Authentication

Describe the bug
I would like to checkout the HMS, but can not access the web page.
I think its server-side CORS problem.

Also, I had try to clone the project to my local, and the npm installation also failed.

Steps to reproduce the behavior:

1. node version, v16.6.2
2. npm install

Running into deprecated packages and execution errors.

A few errors:

• node: ../src/coroutine.cc:134: void* find_thread_id_key(void*): Assertion `thread_id_key != 0x7777' failed.
• node:internal/crypto/hash:67 this[kHandle] = new _Hash(algorithm, xofLen);
• details.family.toLowerCase is not a function

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

1. nvm install --lts
2. npm install @vue/cli
3. Do steps in README
4. Run into errors when running npm install
5. Run into errors when executing npm run dev

Expected behavior
Install node/npm and vuejs as described in the README and run npm run dev to develop/test the application

Wishing for
Maybe provide a Docker-Image, or pin the required package versions in a script.
