Harbor

A chrome extension for Cyberoam authentication with functionalities of login/logout, tracking data usage with a easy to use interface providing a smooth user experience.

Contributing

Fork this repo and then clone the repo with git clone https://github.com/osdc/harbor.git or you can use ssh too.
Now open chrome, navigate to Options > More tools > Extensions
Click on load unpacked and select harbor. Voila your extension is ready!
In case of any dilemmas you can create an issue or reach us at our slack channel.

This project requires a basic understanding of how chrome extensions are build. For info on that you may want to head on to Chrome's official extension overview. Also there's a list of beginner-friendly sample extensions which you may like.

This project is under construction and may not function properly due to instability!

How do I use the extension

Readme.md does not highlight how to use this on my system.

Track current progress

This thread is for discussing what has been done till now and what needs to be achieved.

The extension's first page has been designed with animations. You can find it in popup.html
@ryzokuken 's cyberoam module is bundled with browserify.
Use webpack instead of browserify.
Configure manifest.json to run harbor.js as a background script. (More on background scripts here)
Complete entire frontend and link it with background scripts.
Finally, make sure the basic Cyberoam functionalities (login and logout) are working.
