map2model's Issues

Questions for new template

I am consolidating the questions here for easier reading later (from slack)

  1. Does "spec_info" need to have all fields (and include when empty) or are missing (not written if empty) okay?
  2. Why do we have spec_info (as opposed to putting them all on the highest level?)
  3. Where and when is the version_date derived? (eg version_date: 20180225T000000)
  4. What about "official_type" and "full_example?" (eg ``official_type: ""`)
  5. is there a use of these data files beyond the bioschemas.org site where they are parsed, or just a subset of the fields?
  6. What is group (eg group: datarepositories) and cross_walk_url
