How can you reduce log verbosity?

Currently every single packet gets logged to syslog and to daemon.log creating multiple MB of logfiles per day.

For example:

Is there any way to only log WARNINGs and ERRORs ?

Error during gateway status check

Everything seems to work smoothly except for when I run the final script to check the gateway status and get the error
[ERROR]: There are not enough start.sh scripts running.

What does this mean? Can someone please help me with this?
