It should be noted that #59 isn't sufficient to protect against all attacks, as CVE-2019-19921 has shown. I think there are ways we can solve it (with libpathrs) but that shouldn't block us from doing releases that somewhat solve the issue (at the very least it makes attacks a bit harder to accomplish).

Thanks for the additional info; yes, even if it's not fully resolved, every bit helps (I guess); just want to prevent people who use go mod from missing out on a (partial) fix.
