Using Moodle 2.9 if I click on a link to Google Email when no user is signed on it navigates me to index.php with a big long SAML ID attached to it. When I then try to login I get an error from Moodle saying "Password Not Valid" and then a link to the Moodle error documents for the fact that isteacherinanycourse() has been deprecated.

The above is a way to replicate this particular error, but it's seen in the context of when a user is trying to create a Google account on their Android devices whenever they add the Google account and are then being forwarded to Moodle to sign in, they get this "Password Not Valid" error despite the fact the password is fine and the user can login without any problems.

Any thoughts?

Could someone please let me know if it would be possible to implement a basic GDPR support for this lovely plugin? It looks like core unit tests are failing in Moodle 3.9 onwards, see below
