Employee Exception Summation and Running Totals

This repository contains example code for demonstrating the functionality of the sum_exceptions_for_id function in the totals.py script.

Contents

The repository contains the following:

  • totals.py: Python script containing the sum_exceptions_for_id function.
  • Test files for the sum_exceptions_for_id function.
  • requirements.txt: file containing all dependencies

Running the Code

Before running the code, first install all required dependencies:

pip install -r requirements.txt

To run the totals.py script, navigate to the directory containing the script and use the following command:

python totals.py

To run the tests use the following command:

pytest .
