This is a Next.js project bootstrapped with create-next-app.

Getting Started

First, run the development server:

npm run dev
# or
yarn dev
# or
pnpm dev
# or
bun dev

Open http://localhost:3000 with your browser to see the result.

You can start editing the page by modifying app/page.tsx. The page auto-updates as you edit the file.

This project uses next/font to automatically optimize and load Inter, a custom Google Font.

Deploy on Vercel

State manager / cleanup or remove

After the enhancements and some features being implemented, rethink whether the state manager is actually needed in this project.
If it's needed for some reason then cleanup the store and setup reducers in right way

Create multiplayer minesweeper

Create game logic for minesweeper

  • Each player can make move (it's not turn based)
  • Point gained in case user flag the bomb correctly or expand the field
  • Player lose in case the flag is not on bomb
  • Create lobbies
  • Login/Signup

Migrate to Next

The app should be migrated to Next.js as CRA was deprecated long time ago

Filter & Sort on db level

Sorting and filtering shouldn't be on FE.
Perfect time to migrate to MongoDB or at least to switch from Realtime Database to Firstore DB

Add more meaning to app

This app doesn't have any meaning, it was created at the beginning of my career, just used to showcase my beginner skills.
But now it's not enough and some things are really poorly implemented, as for example most of things are done on front end, which is bad.

One idea is to convert this app into a family app, where you can add your whole family and basic information about each of your relatives.

And later on it can be extended to support notifications which will remind logged users about incoming birthdays (I always forget this stuff...)

Introduce typescript to project

I forgot the last time I was writing vanilla JS, and here, vanilla flavor is not our favorite one, sooo let's utilize TypeScript.
