Initialize the Node Package Manager (npm):

npm init

npm install nodemon -g

Enable to keep the server running and take account of changes.

npm i express --save

The Express server enable us to use http requests, manage routing and views.

npm i body-parser

The body-parser package will let us parse json and validate the req.body.

npm i mongoose

Mongoose is the ORM which enables us to manage the database interactions between our application and MongoDB.

npm i pug

Pug (new name for Jade package) is the template engine used for our views.
