I have tested almost all the components in classic and modern pages and I have found that most of them only work in modern pages. For instance, none of the chart web parts work in classic pages, nor does the message bar, accordion, tabs, news slider, and several others that could be of prime value on my current SPO tenant. The error message is usually "failed to load url. There may be a problem with the HTTPS certificate" This only occurs on classic pages. On modern pages there are no issues. Can you account for the difference in behavior between classic and modern pages. Are there design guideline for the two scenarios for creating SPFx web parts?

Whenever I add or remove any value in PropertyFieldPeoplePicker, it doesn't reflect the new value on the page. I have to refresh the page to see it. This is only happening when I test the web part on SharePoint environment but it works in localhost environment.

I've tried to install the sppkg in the App Catalog but it doesn't seem to recognise the package. While there are no upload errors, "Valid App Package" is set to No, the product Id doesn't look right and I can't add the app to any site. See the image below...

Love the web parts, a wonderful example of what's possible with SPFx.

Testing these with pages built in custom page layouts and master pages proves problematic unfortunately. The web parts only fully render around 1 out of 10 page reloads.

In out of the box classic pages, everything works fine every time.

Is there anything we can do to ensure all the required resources are loaded every time?

After adding the Tabs wp to my modern page, I noticed that I do not see the toolbars as pictured in your Overview, and I can only update the first tab. Clicking additional tabs kicks the wp out of edit mode.

Same results in Chrome version 58.0.3029.110 (64-bit), Internet Explorer 11 version 11.672.105860.0, and Edge 25.10586.672.0 (HTML 13.10586)

My users seem to prefer having clickable links in the tiles gallery instead of showing a large version of the tile picture. Is there a way to associate a link with the tile so that users could click on it and load a new page?

Anyone else seeing this in their Tenant, none of the 40 webparts are loading due to not being able to load the js file. Browsing to the JS file url opens it fine.

On a clean install I can't use the syntax highlighter webpart, due to the following error:
"Can't find brush for: x"

Installed on clean site on O365-tenant.

The News Ticker webpart only display the first 4 items in the list. It then cycles back to the beginning of the list rather than continuing on through the list, or looping back to the beginning (i.e. the animation rolls back up to the top rather than continuing on in the same direction but looping, this might just be a design choice though).

Also, when adding a new News Item, the text in the editor is always in capitals, although in the webpart itself, it renders as typed. Just a little confusing for users.

However, the webparts as a whole are great and really appreciate the work done. Thanks

Is makes use of chart.finance.yahoo.com and that doesnt exist anymore according to my dns query.

When using the web parts on loading the Tiles Menu web part it keeps reverting to the news carousel. Seems to happen more in chrome.

It seems that from last week until now has changed something in TilesMenu or SPFX-40 webpart, that send us an error to the production environment.

The error seems to be related with the HTTPS certificate, but we use the O365 security and it works until now.

In my company, we have re-engineered a set of 10 components based on the spfx-40-fantastics. We have rewritten some code and changed a few controls, but we have left in some of the compiled es6 code. We plan to publish these components as an app to our SPO site in a week or two to our O365 tenant to allow users to add them to their sites. We will include the MIT license in the SPFx package which is deployed to the app catalog on our site. Are there any other restrictions we need to be aware of? These webparts are great, it would be brilliant if we were able to put the various news webparts into "List Mode" whereby we could select a list or library to populate our articles. Maybe a pages library so that articles can be created and then ordered using metadata to prioritize certain articles. Adhering to audiencing to allow targetted content would be another great feature.

When we use the Accordion web part in a multi-column page layout with 2 additional text boxes on the page, we're unable to edit text in those text boxes. The cursor is constantly returned to the beginning of the text box. When we remove the accordion web part, the text boxes work without issue.

But Sometimes it is giving me Uncaught (in promise) TypeError: h(...).unitegallery is not a function Error.
After few refreshes it is loading again.

The error below occurs after some fer minutes when the page is loaded

Unite Gallery Error: You have some jquery.js library include that comes after the gallery files js include.
This include eliminates the gallery libraries, and make it not work.

To fix it you can:
1. In the Gallery Settings -> Troubleshooting set option: Put JS Includes To Body option to true.
2. Find the double jquery.js include and remove it.

Hi, I was searching for something like this spfx webparts collection since long, and it is a really good work. Appreciated.
But I have one idea, what if you make all of your web parts have the option to retrieve its data (items) from a list, so in the webpart settings i will choose the site collection, then i will choose which list in that site, and then I will choose which columns in that list to be mapped with specified columns in the webpart.
also adding filtering by specified column and item limit will be awesome.
are you going to make something like this soon?

I see that the web parts are now available as a precompiled package, but I was hoping to preview the web parts and run them on a local web server using "gulp serve" following your original installation instructions. Once I git clone the repo, run "npm install", and then attempt to run "gulp serve" a series of task errors arise that terminate the build. Is it no longer possible to run the web parts on a local web server using "gulp serve"?

I am using the library "sp-client-custom-fields" licensed by MIT to use the SharePoint People Picker control in a SPFX webpart. I am able to use the code successfully to pull some of the property values using the available codebase. However, my requirement is to display some custom users properties when users select a specific user from the people picker but I am not able to show the values from any other profile properties. I wanted to create my own library on top of the MIT one but I was not able to do that. The available codebase shows the username, email id, designation and profile picture only. Please provide a solution to display other custom properties as well.

We've recently noticed the toolbar for the Fck Text web part isn't loading. We're still able to copy/paste text into the web part from Word and styling is retained, just the toolbar won't load.

I've ensured the latest version of SPfx 40 is loaded on the site, but no joy. Here's what it looks like for us:

On executing gulp serve I get the following error:

I'm not sure if this needs to be done or not. But I was updating to the latest sp-client-custom-fields.

I've added "key" to the fields array. But I don't believe it's being referenced by the function. My picker data comes up empty.

Do I also need to update the ...WebPartProps.ts file?

tooltip text reads 'This Web Pat' - should be 'This Web Part'

When I try to configure the Simple Poll and I try to configure the Survey List, the list name disappears before I can select it. The same happens with the Results Chart Type. This only occurs on the classic page, not the modern page.

When adding a spfx-40 webpart to a page, I receive the following error. I am using version 1.0.2.0.

Most webparts give the same error. But the "Arc text", "Simple caroussel", and "Audio visualizer" still work.

After installation, web parts do not show up to be added. As an fyi, I tested the root site and another site, just to be thorough. I previously did have 1.02 installed without issue and several custom spfx web parts work fine.

• Added 1.03 via app catalog -- no error present
• Added to site successfully, no errors
• In SITE SETTINGS all web parts are present and activated
• When editing a modern page, none of them show up. No errors in the console
• When editing a classic page, web parts are not preset and there are no groups where they should be either
• Tried to deactivate and reactive a couple web parts to see if those would suddenly become available but that did not work
• Previous version was removed from recycle bin and second recycle bin, just in case....

Inserting multiple "Media Player" parts on a page does not work correctly with version 1.0.4.0.

Steps to reproduce:

1. Insert a media player part on a modern page.
2. Configure HTML5 audio URL and media type.
3. Insert a second media player part.

Expected behavior:

• Both media player parts exist independently, with separate audio and un-linked play controls

Actual behavior:

• Clicking "play" on one part causes both to display the current media play progress.
• Inserting additional media player parts appears to cause an unpredictable repetition of media player parts previously added to the page.

I've been attempting to install and run these web parts but I have consistently encountered errors during the gulp serve. I have tried it on two separate machines and have used nvm to run the npm install with both 8.4.0 and 6.11.3 to see if it made a difference.
