(on a mac) I installed it via homebew, but not the standard brew cask install emacs
. The problem with that version was missing imagemagick support and it didn’t behave well as a mac app (wasn’t possible to resize the window via native controls).
I instead used brew tap railwaycat/emacsmacport
and then brew cask install emacs-mac
.
It should be pretty simple to set up this configuration, just clone this repo into ~/.emacs.d
.
The ./emacs-init.org is an org file describing the settings more or less.
