Please add schematics in pdf or other universal format - now in order to view the schematic you need to download KiCad...

You need to use an older version of the IDE to get it to compile and a backdated library.

Arduino IDE: version 1.8.5
ArduinoJson by Benoit Blanchon Version 5.13.2

using those allows for the older code formats to work, the newer libraries don't like to play nice with octosavvi's code

also note that the UI will still fail to upload. the work around is to download the green.bin UI and connect to the ESP once you've flashed the ide binary over to it and run the UI upload script. then reload the webpage and it should be good to go.

just looking into your ESPKey and when I compile the ESPKey.ino I get:

ESPKey:238:11: error: StaticJsonBuffer is a class from ArduinoJson 5. Please see https://arduinojson.org/upgrade to learn how to upgrade your program to ArduinoJson version 6 238 | StaticJsonBuffer<1024> jsonBuffer; | ^~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

I've tried a couple of things from their page ( changing the JsonBuffer in line 238 and removing the & in line 239) but am not proficient enough to work all the changes out.

Are there any references to exact source of those libraries ? And are all those in deed needed(I see mulitple vendors) , if not can those be removed ?

Im aware this hasn't been updated in a while, but possibly might be worth adding RS232 logging too.

Could you tell me what revision of the ESP8266 the retail version of this was built with?  I have the 12-E and 12-F and neither have the external antenna connection.

Does anyone have a source for the 2 IDC connectors and/or what the suggested wire gauge would be?
