CrimsonCommerce is an experimental ecommerce platform build using a functional programming approach and leveraging the power of Erlang/Elixir and the Phoenix framework.

To get a local copy up and running follow these simple steps.

This is an example of how to list things you need to use the software and how to install them.

• Elixir https://elixir-lang.org/install.html
• Phoenix

mix archive.install hex phx_new 1.4.10

• Node.js

npm install npm@latest -g

1. Clone the repo

git clone https:://github.com/amacgregor/crimson_commerce.git

2. Install Elixir dependencies packages

mix deps.get

3. Create and Migrate the database with

mix ecto.setup

4. Install the Node.js dependencies

cd apps/crimson_commerce_web/assets && npm install

5. Start the application

mix phx.server
