goodreads-dark's Issues

Shelf settings

Hi Jeffrey!
Sorry to bother again and thanks for fixing the highlights last time
I found another part of the website which the theme doesn't affect yet - Shelf settings and batch edit

Zero saturation version to become default

This is a discussion on whether the zero saturation version should become the default version.

After creating the Zero saturation version 33fc434, I have come to prefer it. It seems to be softer on the eyes and easier to read.

Any opinions?

Notes on if this were to happen

  • OG dark jade theme would not be abandoned.
  • OG dark jade theme would still get updates.

Secondary hosting on freestyle.ws

Any chance of getting the style hosted on freestyle.ws? xStyle doesn't work with userstyles.org, and the supposed method for installing with the json file (link their server to the json file, like so also doesn't work.

I don't have anything in particular against Stylus, just that I stopped using Stylish when the logging issue came out around 2015 or so, and ended up settling on xStyle, where I now have a bunch of stuff.

IMO the worst part of usercss standard is the json file; if they used a structured header like user.js/greasemonkey files do, it would be easier to self-host them.

notes and highlights

this is a suggestion for something to be done in the next fix it possible - if you visit a person's profile who has kindle notes & highlights, you'll see that the text is a pastel yellow background and light grey letters, making the highlights impossible to read.

goodreads

thx for the style btw - goodreads has been needing a (working) darker style for a long time!
