md's Issues

Suggestion, chat settings.

To be specific the timestamps in 24h mode.

I have a couple other things after messing about with the addon but I feel like this is the only one of them you might not already be working on.

Love your work!

Disable Icon/Move the Icon in the Cast Bar?

Not sure if I'm digging this icon in the cast bar. Feels off. Perhaps it'd look better at the very edge of the cast bar?

I understand that you're trying to save space if you compare it to how you've done it in the normal modui.

Anyway, come on maestro -- would love to see some more development into this interface!

[BUG] Menu and Bag buttons overlay too big

Hello,

So, on the file /elements/actionbars/menu.lua on line 65 you have menu.mouseover:SetHeight(300)
As you can see the Height is set to 300 which makes the overlay on MouseOver to be too big.
Set it to 10 and it's roughly the Menu Icon size.
Same goes for /elements/actionbars/bags.lua on line 42 bp.mouseover:SetHeight(100)
Setting it to 10 does the trick.

I'm not used to post to GitHub so let me know if you need some more info when posting bugs, like specific title tags or something like that.

Cheers.

Bottom Right Action Bar not there

Hi! Straight to business.
All action bars are enabled and set to "always show", but bottom right is not there =( no other addons to modify action buttons (bongos, bartender etc.) are used. How can i fix it?

[Bug] Can't edit var/var.lua

Hello, after this, after editing the file var/var.lua in the game there are no changes I was trying to reload the interface with the command /rl no changes were made to delete files in SavedVariables without changes

i have windows 10

Suggestion: Add Buffs Icons to Raid Frames

One important factor that I miss in the current raid frames in your previous version is the ability to see buff icons on raid frames.

The scenario would be for example, as a mage I want to see if the raid groups have intellect on them or not instead of having to use an extra addon for that.

pfUI does this very nicely -- perhaps something in those terms (or at least having the option).

Suggestion: Modular approach, better performance

I want to suggest that you make this addon modular in a way where you can disable features that impact loading screen time.

Example: Let's say I use both ModUI and Carthographer addons. There is no reason that ModUI loads all dungeon maps into the memory when the user is using the dungoen maps from Cartographer.

This might require that you split ModUI up into many different addons, so the user can disable ModUI's Dungeon Maps at the character screen - i dont know.

Some suggestions, some bug reports and other jazz

I've been trying out the UI and it's great -- I love the new position of the bar where bags and the menu stuff normally are.

I've noted some other things too, like some bugs and got a few suggestions too:

  • Party frames tend to reset position when joining a new party
  • Placement of the icons on the gryphons (chat, class icon, etc) -- feels out of place atm, either make them blend in more or move them somewhere else
  • Status bar when showing HP & MP, not sure if it's a limitation of the Vanilla API -- having HP on the very left of the bar and percentage on the very right would be very appealing (like retail handles it)
  • Raid frames do not disappear after a battleground (and FC icon does not disappear)
