Description

Template for Remix applications with Deck.gl and @nycplanning/streetscape (based on Chakra UI)

Dev setup

nvm use
npm i
npm run dev

E2E Testing

This application is currently configured to use Playwright for end to end testing.

Tests should be kept in the ./tests folder and can be run with the npm run test command.

The playwright.config is used to configure tests and can be used to select which browsers we run our tests on, including mobile.

Add e2e testing with Playwright to Remix template

This Issue tracks work related to configuring this repo for e2e testing using Playwright. See this PR from the PoC repo for reference.

Install Playwright dependencies
Add unit testing npm script in package.json
Add playwright.config.ts file
Add End to End Testing section to README documenting that this repo supports e2e testing with Playwright.

React and Remix project template

We want to create a template repository in GitHub for front end projects using React and the Remix framework.

The repo should install and configure the following tooling for code quality:

eslint
prettier
typescript for type checking
husky and lint-staged for automatically running checks via commit hooks

We can use our existing react and vite boilerplate as a guide for how to configure these tools and set up things like npm scripts

The repo should install and configure the following libraries for unit and end to end testing

Production run error: Directory Imports unsupported

Directory import '/ae-remix-template/node_modules/@deck.gl/react/typed' is not supported resolving ES modules imported from /ae-remix-template/build/server/index.js
