2.75 API Wish List

The following items have been accepted as "planned" 2.75 updates to the plugin API:

  • Built-in relative positioning in nwcdraw
  • xy notehead position
  • xy accidental position, returning nil when no accidental exists
  • Targeted access methods for getting notehead PitchPosText elements, such as glyph (companion to notePitchPos)
  • Retrieval method for all staff properties, not limited to draw events
  • Method for getting slur/tie directions

We will be implementing evolutionary changes to the API in this next release, likely avoiding any revolutionary changes at this point.
