This repo is a simple Rails api project with the an end point that generates random greeting messages, it provide the greeting messages to Hello React Fron End App.

• Reload the page to get a random message
• Rails API only end point

To get a local copy up and running, follow these steps.

In order to run this project you need:

• A terminal
• A code editor
• Ruby, Rails, and Postgres shouls be installed.

Clone this repository to your desired folder:

  cd my-folder
  git clone [email protected]:NurkaAmre/back_end_rails.git

Install this project with:

  cd back_end_rails
  bundle install

To run the project, execute the following command:

  rails db:seed
  rails server

• To check which greeting you get in json format, navigate to the following url:

http://localhost:3000/messages
