More date functionality throughout

It would be great to have more date functionality throughout the site, to filter the data. For instance, the pie chart seems to be fixed right now and just show the total stats for all contracts on the site, but it would be great to be able to filter by date and get a total for a date range.

Or when looking at the list of contracts for a particular agency, it would be great to reduce it to a particular date range.

Doing a search for "SAP National Research Council" ( http://www.disclosed.ca/?keyword=SAP+National+Research) one of the results is a $1,498,988 contract for SAP. Upon further inspection on NRC's website and comparing contract numbers, the contract has been amended 3 more times for a total value of $2,860,319.

It would be neat to have a sparkline visualizing additional amendments to each contract... the following visualizes the above contract: Initial competitive contract (dark blue), plus three amendments of approximately $261k (light blue), and the "consolidated" contract amount (red):

I went to disclosed.ca then clicked on one of the agencies listed at the bottom.

Ugh. Not sure how to say this simply. Okay - you list the dates of a contract. e.g. "Period: 2008-10-21 to 2009-01-28". But that we also need to know is how many days are between those two dates. Example: a contract of $1,000,000 over a period of 2 years is very different than a contract over a period of 1 month. my suggestion then is to have the program calcuate the diff btw the start/end period of a contract and to display that on the screen too.
