i cant find a .exe and im not good with computers

Im pretty new to using this program and im trying to scrape from my favorites on Kemono. I would like it to switch from the user number into the actual users name such as https://kemono.su/patreon/user/4971095 into FPSBlyck on the folder name. As well as trying to login into Kemono with the CoomCRWL engine instead of the gallery-dl engine in order for it to grab my session id.

I have internet that fails sometimes. When it does, coom dl will not say that it has lost connection. But aside from that I would like there to be a feature that would check if a video that it is downloading already exists in the folder that it is copying it to. That way it could skip over files that have already been downloaded and get back to what it was doing quicker.

I am really bad at computers so can anyone tell me a quick guideline in launching the program, please?
I am using MacOS btw.

Description:

coom-dl release 0.72 does not appear to recognise any existing folders created by previous versions as the folder name template has changed. This results in it re-downloading all content into a new folder using a new folder name, instead of checking existing folders to skip content that has already been downloaded.

Release 0.72 is now adding an space character at the start of folder names (e.g. instead of [creatorname] there is an added blankspace character [ creatorname], and also adds "(Coomer Creator)" to the end of the folder name too.

Steps to reproduce the behaviour:

If you have any existing folders from previous versions like 0.5, they will be named with just the creator's name:
"funsizedasian"
Running 0.72 for the same creator will create a new folder and will re-download all content without checking for existing items to skip as the existing folder is ignored. This new folder would be named:
" funsizedasian (Coomer Creator)"

Workaround:

Using Windows, you cannot manually rename a folder to have a space at the start of the name, As a workaround, you could run coom-dl 0.72 first to have it create the new folder (with a space at the start of the folder name), and then copy contents of old folders into the new folder during the crawl so that coom-dl will check for items to skip later.

Recover all timed out downloads after the successful downloads are done.
Also, add a custom number of retries.

Make a feature for adding a way to download files by their release date,the oldest art is downloaded first, and the newest art last
to have a file put away in the order it was taken out

I have a number of models saved in one directory (with each model being given its own subdirectory by coom-dl)

I should be able to point to that directory and automatically update each one, having coom-dl populate the links itself

I just downloaded this yesterday, used it for a bit then when I went to re-open it, the window was white and not loading.

I just installed the new version I added a link to download to the program loaded the link it has been stuck on Crawls 20 min now. I loved the older versions downloads would start instantly after you added a link to the program. Now the program has to fully crawl a account befor it downloads any files lame. I will stick to the newest version of Cyberdrop it works just fine.

I am using version 0.72

The downloading speed is very slow when using my local network, but it seems the software can't utilize a proxy network.

As the title suggest, it would seem like whenever I grab content from a Coomer.Party link, no more pictures are taken and I always end up with only videos.

I haven't touched the code and re-downloading didn't fix the issue.

To be honest to me this is perfect as I only care about videos but still, maybe an option to filter only for photos/videos could be interesting once the issue is fixed.

Whenever I try to download from a coomer.party/coomer.su page nothing is actually downloaded. The app says it was sucessful but the files are empty.

This issue persists on 7.2 and 7.5. Even the example coomer party post in the readme doesn't download any content

It would be nice to see how much of the file is downloaded and the speed the download is going

Also somethimes the download seems to completly stop, having me waiting hours befor manually skiping only to realise its most likely stuck

The downloader has stopped working for me. It creates the folders of the user I want to download and says that it is complete, but it doesn't actually download any content. I've tried to reinstall the downloader, but that did not fix it. When I enter a url for a coomer.su user, the application fetches files from the user and says that the download is complete. It takes only a few seconds to do this. It is not downloading any files from coomer.su

hi, is it possible to configure temporary folders? Currently, I'm using an HDD as my download destination, but it appears that the temporary files are being stored on my C:/ (ssd) drive where my main OS is installed. This is causing my PC to become unresponsive (like i cant do anything, browsing internet, general computer usage it became really slow) due to high disk usage on the C:/ drive.

Hey, it seems like the scraper never fully downloads someone's content. Every time I launch a search, new stuff pops up, and I keep getting errors when dealing with a creator who has around 100 pages of content.

Not all the files are corrupted, but many of them are. It's impossible to determine which without trying to open them and doing so makes significantly slows down my PC. VLC won't even close with task manager. I'll try downloading the same files to see if the problem persists.

Download speed of this program seems to be really slow I have no idea what I am downloading at I just know it is not 10mbps+. I have a 1Gbit connection it should not take 90min to 3hrs to download a 6gb to 20gb pack. I am not saying I should be getting 25mbps+ real speed 10mbps to 15mbps would be just fine.

If a post contains multiple photos or videos, it won't grab them all. Also, I noticed that when using it, it doesn't download everything; only a few of the posts are downloaded.

As I tried coomer.party, I got it form the top followers like @kittyxkum who has more than 1000 posts.

However it didn't work properly, only showing [50/50],as if successfully
Then I tried another user @hitomi_official who had lesser posts than 300, It worked.

I hope you cloud place a bottom for us to adjust the time interval to avoid too much requests to the server resulting this
We may have the most patience and don't mind the time spent when downloading pics h.

I used to able to download onlyfans profiles but now i get an error (crawling and then "An Error has occurred at:...") but for some reason i can still download fansly profiles. I'm using the latest version.

I tested it with two links and it worked fine, then I cancelled the full downloads by skipping them, and now that I'm trying one new link a few days later and it isn't working.
I've tried redownloading a clean version of version 0.43 but it didn't change the result.
0.32 seems to work fine

Everytime I try to download from kemono (havent tried with coomer), the download stops at 98% - 99%, I don't know why

threads_locker bugs out after first download.
The user must close the app and reopen it for the threads_locker to respond again.

First download.
threads_locker locks at 4 which is normal.
second download.
threads_locker locks at -1 and -4 which is not normal.
