I'm NotAShelf, also known as raf. Amateur software developer & artist, professional sailor & sailmaker. Intermediate DevSecOps & SysAdmin in training. Fulltime procrastinator.

🔭 I’m currently working on:
- neovim-flake, no-nonsense, highly extensible neovim configuration packaged through a nix flake
- Fylgja, a wrapper around my day-to-day software such as package managers. Written in Rust as practice.
- Proxima, a Discord bot that is written in Javascript with a Typescript rework on the way.
- Hyprkeys, a powerful and easy to use keyboard utility designed for my favorite Wayland Compositor, Hyprland.
- Nyx, the first child of chaos and also an alias for my configuration for the ultimate declarative Linux distro, NixOS!
- Kamishiba - replacement to the now-deleted manga-cli from AUR [WIP].
🌱 I’m currently learning Rust, Golang, ReactJS and the Nix expression language. I despise Javascript, Nix despises me.
💬 Ask me about Multiplayer FPS/(J)RPG gaming, chess and Tintin/Lucky Luke comics, a good movie to watch, but NEVER programming. Unless, of course, you want to be confused.
⭐ Fun fact: I cannot write C++ code to save my life, yet I passed a CS class using nothing but C++ back in college.
