NodeSchool Karachi

We will be having links related to our meetup/events here in the events folder in this repo

NodeSchool is a series of open source workshops that teach web software skills. Individuals are encouraged to do the workshoppers on their own or at one of the NodeSchool events around the world. The workshopper tutorials are used as the course curriculum, while mentors are here to help attendees work through challenges.

What is the event about?

While our previous event (Rest APIs Workshop) focused on getting some hands-on workshops, this will bring even more fun. We're gonna push the boundaries and will go through some new tools and stacks that we can get our hands dirty with. The call for proposals will be started soon.

What is the event about?

While our previous event (The Chapter Begins) focused on the learnyounode workshopper, for this event we will have some hands-on workshops. The target is to get the attendees started with creating APIs with NodeJS. Here are the four talks that we've planned:

Initiating a NodeJS app with Express & MongoDB
Parsing JSON payload and saving data in MongoDB
Parsing URL Params and sending back appropriate data
Understanding and implementing File Uploads with multer

3:00 PM - Introduction to Nodeschool
3:10 PM - Introduction to the Mentors
3:25 PM - Workshop 1
3:55 PM - Workshop 2
4:00 - Break
4:20 PM - Workshop 3
4:55 PM - Workshop 4
5:30 - Networking
5:45 - Wrap up

If you're interested in giving a specific talk from above. Do let us know here in the comments. You will have to submit the at least a week prior to the event date.
