Dear Jieshuo developer,

My name is Svaroop and I am writing to you today to report a problem I am having with the July 7th version of Jieshuo.
I am using a Samsung Galaxy M20 phone and I have noticed that this version of Jieshuo is consuming a lot of battery.
I have tried activating the power saver mode in Jieshuo settings to prevent battery consumption, but this has not solved the problem. In fact, after activating power saver mode, I am facing two additional problems:

1. The jieshuo does not read long messages at all in Telegram, Nekogram, and Nekogram X.
2. The jieshuo does not say anything in the number keyboard which opens while first time login with mobile number in any application like WhatsApp, GPay, Telegram.

Additionally, I have noticed that even though I always use espeak as my text-to-speech engine, Jieshuo still keeps Google Text-to-Speech running in the background.
I can see this by going to the Developer Settings on my phone and checking the Running Services. There, I see one service and three processes for Jieshuo, one for the main process, one for espeak, and one for Google Text-to-Speech Engine.
I even completely disabled Google Text-to-Speech on my phone, but Jieshuo still ran perfectly fine with espeak. This leads me to believe that Jieshuo is unnecessarily keeping Google Text-to-Speech running in the background, which is contributing to the battery drain.

I would appreciate it if you could look into this issue and fix it in a future version of Jieshuo.

The software needs privacy-sensitive permissions to work properly. Targeting old and unsupported SDK versions does not help too. Code obfuscation and encrypting lua scripts do not make it trustworthy at all, even Google is not doing it for their TalkBack's Play Store variant.

We can understand that it relies on some pre-paid functionality so even partial disclosure of the source code (for which Baidu and other external services are not needed) would help a bit.

To be clearer, I decided to set my keyboard so that the up and down arrows allow me to scroll through the lines.
However, this should allow me to read any line containing text, which it doesn't.

I know this is a mistake made by the reader himself, since with talkback this is possible.

Hello and thanks in advance, on my samsung s21 the start and end screen commands, that is the ones that should lead to the first and last element of the screen do not work for me:
neither when I am inside an APP, nor when I am on the home screen:
in the case of the home screen, they only work if called from within a menu and not when they are assigned to a gesture in a theme.

To put it in context, when I activate this functionality and use the "voice input" button that is already built into the Google keyboard, the Google keyboard cannot hear what is being spoken.

Hi, is there any bluetooth keyboard support for your screen reader? Ideally I should be able to do everything with a bluetooth keyboard that you can do using the touch screen. More over this would be clearly and properly documented in English with a list of the keyboard commands and what they do. I couldn't find this If I Missed it please give me a link to the keyboard commands. Thanks.

hello, update if possible the espeak to the latest version 1.52 since the espeak variants of the integrated jieshuo, the klatt6 variants sound metallic, which in the external APK does not happen the same.
