Hi,
recently I was asking craft support a question about the syntax of searching in the cp.
They've recommended me your plugin, which is great.
Then, diving further down, I was asking them a question about searching for specific element attributes. Now they've added some examples to the docs:
https://craftcms.com/docs/3.x/searching.html#searching-for-specific-element-attributes
I believe that your plugin would profit if you'd incorporate those element attributes as well.
Cheers
Stefan
Neat plugin, but seems like it isn't present with the rest of your plugins:

hi, is it currently possible to create custom filters in the config on a per channel basis? I can only seem to add custom filters for all Entries, if I have multiple channels, some fields are not in the channel but will still show the custom filter which wouldnt make any sense to the user.
thanks
I think this is actually related to Entry Types: we have one section that has multiple Entry Types with overlapping fields, and somehow the same field is getting picked up multiple times if it is on the layout for multiple Entry Types. See screenshot:
The "duplicate" fields in that list are all actually the same field.
First off - Brilliant plugin. A lot of our clients ask for this functionality and we normally tell them the little tricks to do in the search bar. This makes it a lot easier.
My question is... Can you add this to the lightbox/modal that appears when you select an element e.g. Entry, Category, Asset etc.
Currently this view is the same as the list, but without your plugin. So it's difficult to filter down entries in this modal without your plugin.
I am testing this plugin locally to see if it will be a viable option for assisting our client in filtering entries in the control panel. We are using v1.0.0.1 in Craft v3.4.9 and so far I only see title and slug as field options across every channel. Where do I configure which fields show in the dropdown?
Ideally, we are looking to filter entries by particular relationships but it isn't something we can create pre-defined filters for in the config file because there are so many possible entry relationships that can exist and new entries are imported all the time.
(one more, sorry!)
Currently, when building a query, hitting the Enter key inside a text field triggers the "Add Another Condition" button, which is pretty confusing and also makes it really non-intuitive about how you should actually submit the query you've built.
I suggest that you:
Hey hey!
Any chance this will be updated for Craft 4? Would like to upgrade but this is one of the last plugins I'm using that is blocking updates. Thanks!
Hi there,
I've been a heavy user of the Searchit plugin that I'm sure you are aware of.
The plugin and others from Fruit have not been updated in a while and are broken in Craft 3.5.
I'm not sure if Fruit is having some difficulties as a business (hope not) but it looks like they have not twitted in over a year, so that plus the fact they haven't updated their plugins worries me and makes me think about what you are doing today with Easy Search.
I really do like what can be done with Searchit, but there is a downside in that it takes a lot of space in the search bar. Your approach with a modal is way better in terms of UX and user friendly.
I was wondering if (with Fruit blessing if needed) you could implement their functionality (multiple dynamic filters per section) into your plugin and superior UX. (See presseddigital/searchit#28).
This is a pretty unusual request I guess but still, if not updated, Searchit is gonna be a missing piece in a lot of craft developers arsenal, and I think you are the most well suited to fill in the void.
What do you think?
I love Easy Search but i have a site where we're using Entry Types heavily and I'd love to be able to search based on those. Can that be added?
