geohex's Introduction

Hi there ๐Ÿ‘‹

I'm a software developer and teamleader a bit ))

I'm using GitHub for my personal projects.

There are little statistic about languages that I'm using in my work:

geohex's Issues

Use the LatLong package

Could it be possible to use the LatLong package for storing coordinates? It is pretty much standard and used in many packages. It would be useful to support it to avoid type conversions when working with other libs

This would avoid having to check coordinates validity in byLocation because LatLng does it

Documentation about searches and calculations

The original library mentions that you can search "within flexible levels of zone size" and that you can do easy distance calculations but I did not find any documentation on how to do it.

Do you have more information about these features?

Export Zone

Hi, cool package. There is an error in the readme: the decode method returns a Zone and not a string:

String geoHexCode = GeoHex.decode('OM4138');

should be:

Zone geoHexCode = GeoHex.decode('OM4138');

The Zone class should be exported: I want to use the hexCoords methods to draw the hexagons on a map. I think the name Zone is a bit too broad: could it be named GeoHexZone for more precision and to avoid name clashes?
