Due to quirks with the pistol sprites (because it has actual sprites for the mirrored and non-mirrored version, instead of just being mirrored programmatically), when the player switches the pistol between left and right-handed, the blood overlay on the pistol doesn't update immediately (player has to select another weapon and then re-select the pistol for the blood overlay to properly update.

Disdain's implementation is more clean code-wise and also 100% bug-free.

This is just a self-note. I'm unsure if I will pull through with these; time will tell if I feel it's worth investing time work into these or not.

• Swap out sprite roll on bullet casings with actually-animated sprite frames
• Software-friendly bullet tracers (probably a trail constructed out of particles?)
• Sprite-based floor and ceiling bullet holes/scorches

(side note: at the time of this posting, this issue does not make sense because these features currently only exist in a local branch that hasn't been pushed online yet. this is intentional)

It should be possible to switch weapons while reloading SG/SSG and then switch back with the reload/pump action process resuming right where you left off. This feature can be seen in my Faster Weapon Switching mod.
